Amy Spiegel’s design aesthetic synthesizes Eastern and Western concepts in modern and traditional forms. Her work and her passion for design have been influenced by her global awareness and her intuitive blending of culture and beauty.
Amy’s vision of space and lifestyle are reflected in her world experience and her observation of place and culture. She believes in a holistic approach to design in which beauty and comfort are never mutually exclusive.
With a world view that embraces both the East and West, she works closely with her clients to discover the essence of the environment in which they live and work. Her aim is to guide, influence and enrich the quality of their lives through personalized design.
In Hong Kong, her professional experience expanded to home design, while continuing to lend her skills and vision to the commercial and hotel worlds. Her work in the Far East is recognized for excellence in prestigious interior design venues such as Home Journal Magazine, the Sunday Post Magazine, and the South China Morning Post.
Amy recently relocated to New York City where she launched Spiegel Interiors, LLC. Current design projects include various residential projects in Manhattan.
A native of New York State, Amy brought her initial vision and technique abroad and expanded it, studying art in Siena and traveling, living and working in Asia, Europe, and the United States. She has spent the last 15 years in Tokyo and Hong Kong working as a designer and FF&E specialist with clients including world-renowned hotels and fashionable boutique spas throughout Asia.
